| How Posh Pet Glamour Boutique came about:
The Owner-April was 8 months pregnant when she had found out that she was going to be without a job. She was working for a major telecommunications company for almost 10 years. The company had decided to downsize and April was among the many who did not have enough seniority to keep her job. It was at that moment that she had to make a major decision that would forever change her life. She was a long time contributer to animal shelters and had always wanted a job working with animals. April & her mom Brenda had rescued cats & dogs throughout their lives. Since April was highly trained working with computers, she had decided to try her luck at starting an online business. She launched Posh Pet Glamour Boutique in July of 2006. Within 6 months, they gained notariety throughout the U.S. In May 2007, Posh Pet Glamour Boutique opened their retail location in Cheshire Connecticut with much success. In April of 2008, they moved to a new location in Plantsville(Southington) CT. April & her husband have 3 dogs, Bit Bit a Chihuahua,Diesel a French Bulldog & Chewy a Brussels Griffon. Their dogs are active participants greeting customers within the store. They also have 5 cats, most of them rescued. Posh Pet Glamour Boutique is family owned & operated, has assisted in fundraisers throughout the U.S and will continue to find unique pet products to offer at reasonable prices.
